Welcome to FCC Plano

As a denomination, our statement of shared identity reads, “We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.”

We also affirm that all persons are God’s children. All who wish to worship are welcome. All are welcome and encouraged to join at the Lord’s Table.

Acts

Many people feel that the book of Acts is the only book of the Bible that is still being written. As a record of the Acts of the Holy Spirit – how God is working in the world to remake it, redeem it – that process hasn’t stopped. And even we are characters in that story! This series will be a survey of the book – 12 sermons that will cover some of the most pivotal moments.

Our goal in this series is to see how the church formed and try to find patterns that can be helpful for us as we continue to build the church. And the patterns we find may surprise us! We will witness a group of people working together – praying together – thinking/planning together – and pretty much just…making it up they go along! They just try their best to do what they think honors God and makes the most sense. And, since that’s what we’re doing to…this book can be very helpful!
